The problem

Most people start investing in Pakistan by asking someone what to buy. The tips are free and the losses are not. What is genuinely missing is not another signal — it is a way to look at a company and understand whether the business is healthy and whether the price is reasonable, without needing a finance degree to do it.

Company reads in plain English

What the business earns, what it owes, and what changed this quarter — written the way you would explain it to a friend, from real filings.

A practice portfolio first

Virtual money at real market prices, with a teaching commission applied so costs are never invisible. Make your early mistakes where they cost nothing.

The working is shown

Every valuation exposes its arithmetic. You are meant to disagree with it — that is easier when you can see how it was reached.

Start with the free calculators

You do not need an account to use these, and they answer the questions most new investors actually have first — what a lump sum becomes, what monthly saving adds up to, and what inflation quietly takes back.

When you want to understand how the market itself works, the writing covers the mechanics — settlement, book closure, how the KSE-100 is actually built — with the primary sources linked so you can check them.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to know accounting to use this?

No. That is the point of the plain-English reads. Where a term matters — book closure, free float, settlement — it is explained the first time it appears rather than assumed.

Will it tell me what to buy?

No, and that is deliberate. Henneth is research tooling, not an advisory service. It shows you what a company earns, what it might be worth and what changed, then you decide. Anything that promises certainty about a share price is selling something.

How much money do I need to start?

You can use the practice portfolio with no money at all. For real investing, the PSX minimum is low — the harder constraint is understanding what you are buying, which is what the desk is for.

Is the data real or delayed?

Prices and filings come from the desk’s own data layer and carry the date they were pulled. Where a figure is unavailable, the desk says unknown rather than estimating.

Research, not advice

Every number on the desk is sourced

Prices, filings and dividends come from the data layer, dated and checkable. Where the desk does not know, it says so.
