Privacy policy

Scope

This policy covers Henneth Desk Companion, a research-only Chrome extension for Pakistan Stock Exchange pages. It explains the limited information needed to identify the ticker being viewed, show Henneth research, sync private notes, and answer questions. Henneth does not place orders or access brokerage accounts.

Information handled

Page signals. On supported TradingView, PSX DPS, and Pakistani business-news pages, the extension reads the current URL, title, headings, and limited visible text locally to identify a ticker. Full page text is not sent for this detection.

Account and saved content. When signed in, the extension uses an authentication session, account identifier, ticker notes, and pinned-note preferences. Notes are content you choose to enter. The extension does not request passwords, payment details, brokerage credentials, government IDs, or precise location.

Questions. Ask the Desk receives the question you submit and only the short recent context needed for a follow-up answer. The active extension panel keeps that thread in memory; it is not a permanent chat archive.

How information is used

Information is used only to identify the active ticker, retrieve Henneth research, authenticate requests, sync your notes, answer your research question, maintain security, and respond to support or deletion requests. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it to determine creditworthiness or lending eligibility.

Service providers

To provide these features, Henneth uses a small number of contracted processors: Supabase for authentication and account storage, Vercel for secure hosting and API delivery, and Groq to generate an Ask the Desk response from the submitted question and the desk’s filtered research context. These providers receive only the information necessary for their stated role. We do not share extension data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Providers may process data outside Pakistan under their own privacy and security terms.

Storage, security, and retention

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The extension stores its authentication session in Chrome extension storage and does not expose it to supported third-party pages. Account notes remain associated with your account while it is active. Limited security or legal records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary; routine provider logs and backups expire under the relevant provider’s retention controls.

Your choices

You may stop using or uninstall the extension, clear its Chrome storage, edit or delete your notes, or request access, correction, export, or deletion of account data. To request deletion or ask a privacy question, email hello@henneth.app. Deleting the account removes active notes and associated extension data from Henneth’s service.

Limited use commitment

Henneth uses information received through the extension only to provide or improve the extension’s disclosed user-facing research features, maintain security, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell the information, use it for personalized advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent for support, for security, or where required by law.
